Welcome

Tri-County Primary

Thank you to everyone in the Tri-County community for welcoming me in my first year as principal at TCP. We had a very exciting year with many new opportunities for students, teachers, and families to work together in setting the foundations for life-long love of learning. Our students REACHed HIGHER last year by embracing challenges, optimizing efforts, exceeding expectations, surpassing goals, and reaching their highest level of personal educational achievement.

Tri-County Schools are excited to be able to offer two new Developmental Kindergarten classes for the 2015-16 school year. The Developmental Kindergarten program is something we have been dreaming about for quite some time. With a lot of hard work from Dr. Goad and our School Board, we are able to offer this two-year Kindergarten program to benefit both our students and families.

I would like to welcome Mrs. Musser and Mrs. Pearson as our two teachers of these classes. They will be a great addition to our Kindergarten Team. I would also like to welcome Mrs. Alberts to our TCP team, as our special education resource teacher.

Some activities to look forward to this year are Red Hot Readers, Reading Counts and IXL incentive programs, Preschool Open House, Superhero Training Cookout (new mother and son event in the spring), and the Daddy Daughter Dance (February 13, 2016).

Every student, teacher and staff member of Tri-County live by our vision to REACH HIGHER, and over the years of establishing this vision, our parents and community have taken it on as well. It takes all of us working together to push our students and children to reach their highest level of person educational achievement. I would like to continue building our relationships between school, parents, and community throughout the year as we all work together to provide your children the foundations of learning. I welcome you to be as active within the school as you can, and I look forward to another outstanding school year at TCP!

Communication is key! I expect every teacher to communicate with parents, and vice versa. If you have a question or concern, contact your child’s teacher. If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 261-2214.
